derived from neighborThe new Bar ‘Cino, which is the Italian word for ‘neighbour’, is located in the heart of the Watertown Square and is the third location for the Italian-inspired dining concept that first opened in Newport, Rhode Island in 2019 and followed in Brooklyn 2020.

Intrinsic to Bar ‘Cino is the casual neighborhood eatery’s simplicity and comfort that is carefully executed throughout its menu, ingredients, and design. Upon entering, guests will be immersed in a warm and welcoming environment, with cozy booths, exposed brick, and colorful artwork from Newport-based artist Sue McNally adorning the walls. An outdoor patio will provide an equally intimate setting, and an expansive bar will create a lively yet romantic atmosphere. The quintessential location for dropping by spontaneously for a drink or celebrating milestones and events with family and friends, guests can expect the convivial atmosphere and exceptional hospitality that the Newport Group of Restaurants is known for.
Bar ‘Cino’s menu will emphasize simple but delicious Italian dishes that highlight the green and white of the Italian flag more than the red. Designed to be shared, options include salads such as Tuscan Kale, Italian Farro and classic Bruschetta, while sharing boards such as Tuna Conserva and Antipasti or A Tavola (for two) including 16oz New York Strip allow guests to choose from a variety of dishes for the table. . Filled with savory appetizers, authentic pastas, and dips, Bar ‘Cino’s Mains includes whole-roasted branzino, rigatoni bolognese, and chicken Milanese serving Italian fare on a classic grilled sandwich. At the center of the menu is Bar Cino’s Rhode Island-style thin-crust grilled pizza served and cut with scissors, a style made famous by Providence’s Al Forno, providing a festive dining experience with options from Fig and Prosciutto to Roasted Rhode Island mushrooms.
The beverage program will feature a strong selection of thoughtfully sourced red, white and sparkling wines from various regions, bottled and draft beers, liqueurs, and cocktail ingredients. Innovative Italian-inspired cocktails include the Spritz & Giggles with Prosecco vodka, lemongrass, ginger, aperol, lime and agave, the Negroni Colada with Campari infused coconut oil, infused pineapple gin, and Bianco Vermouth plus signature ‘Cino Sangria on tap served with a bucatini straw. Diners looking for a free-spirited libation will love the Pina Punch with pineapple, sesame, sweet orange, lemon and coffee and the Cucumber Lemon Spritz with cucumber, lime and dry soda.
Bar ‘Cino Watertown is open daily for dinner, served Monday-Wednesday 4:00-9:30pm, Thursdays 4:00-10:00pm, Friday-Saturday 11:30am-10:00pm, and Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with lunch service beginning July 21 at 11:30 a.m., served Friday through Sunday. In fall 2023, Bar ‘Cino will open for brunch at 11:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Reservations can be made online or by calling the restaurant directly at (617) 458-8550, and takeout will be available. In addition to the dining room, outdoor patio, and bar service, Bar ‘Cino will also offer a semi-private dining area that can accommodate larger groups of 20-25 guests.
