Pickle at Buckleball Land Championships is coming to Cleveland

CLEVELAND, OH – Pickle in the Land is coming to Cleveland.

The three-day pickleball tournament will feature more than 1,000 competitors across 30 stadiums with $25,000 in prize money on the line. The competition is scheduled for Friday through Sunday, December 15-17, at the Huntington Convention Center in Cleveland.

The event is hosted by the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission, Rock Entertainment Group, and Topnotch Events. The latter is the company behind the annual Women’s Tennis Pro Tennis Tournament on the Grounds at Nautica Entertainment Complex from August 19-26.

All skill levels are welcome at Pickle in the Land, organizers said, where professional players compete in the professional division as well as offering individual and group clinic opportunities and company team building events.

Pickleball has been around for more than half a decade, but has seen a strong resurgence in recent years. The sport is intertwined with tennis, badminton and table tennis and can be played indoors or outdoors on a badminton sized court with a modified tennis net. Like tennis, it can accommodate singles or doubles.

The convention center is located at 300 Lakeside Ave. , Cleveland.
